Non-destructive tester apprentices operate a variety of equipment used to perform several weld quality inspection methods and gain experience in radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic and eddy current inspection methods. They also receive training in visual inspection, quality standards, planning, technical applications and codes interpretation.
