Non-Destructive Tester apprentices operate a variety of equipment used to perform several weld quality inspection methods and gain experience in radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic and eddy current inspection methods. They also receive training in visual inspection, quality standards, planning, technical applications and codes interpretation.
X11 111 Hull Construction I – 18 Hours 1.5 Credits
The WCSC supports the entire apprentice program by providing each apprentice with the technical knowledge required for the mastery of a trade, and an opportunity to obtain an associate degree in business administration, engineering technology, or engineering. The curriculum provides the educational foundation necessary for continued growth throughout a career.
The Apprentice School is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education.
